  • Licks 1-9

In the first set of licks from 36 Metal Licks, Steve shows you how to get that “ugly” sound in your metal guitar playing that we all love.  He will also demonstrate some easy repetitive licks to incorporate in to your solos and you will learn some cool trill licks in the styles of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.

  • Licks 10-17

In the next set of licks you will learn how to do speed style licks with picking, learn sequences in the style of Vivian Campbell, and the one trick to learning difficult licks so much easier.  Steve even talks about gear and how to incorporate delay to give you that huge sound.

  • Licks 18-28

In this section, Steve dives deep in to moving across the fretboard with some wild string skipping, horizontal movement on multiple strings and speed picking patterns.  He takes a step back and pays homage to classic metal with some cool pedal tone licks.

  • Licks 29-36

In the final section, Steve gets in to different scale choices to use when playing metal lead guitar.  You will learn notes choices in the style of Marty Friedman, Diminished scale licks in the style of George Lynch and some great sweep picking licks

You can’t get better if you keep doing the same things over and over. This training will force you to get better. You will be way outside your comfort zone… and that’s when you make big breakthroughs in your playing.

This is the ONLY course of its kind that will help you break out of your pentatonic rut and stock licks and give you a whole new exotic and heavy sound to your lead guitar playing.
